Mostes boatyard: our story
Mostes boatyard in Faggeto Lario (Como), founded by Luigi Mostes and today managed by his son Umberto, is now part of the Como Classic Boats group.
In the 1990s, the shipyard made a name for itself in the construction of racing motorboats for the Italian Powerboating Federation (Federazione Italiana Motonautica), creating 250 and 350 cc boats for national and international competitions. Mostes takes great pride in its exceptional racing hulls. Maurizio Mostes, a true master of the 0-250 and 0-350 classes, designed and built these icons of competitive sailing, achieving an impressive collection of victories: 19 world titles, 20 European titles, and 22 Italian titles.
Today, the boatyard has expanded its offerings, becoming a reference point for self-drive boat rentals, with or without a boating license. Customers can choose from a selection of prestigious boats, suitable for those seeking a relaxing lake experience or those wanting to enjoy the pleasures of navigating independently.
In addition to self-drive rentals, the shipyard offers an exclusive tour service with a skipper, available on various boat models, including the prestigious Venetian Limousines.
